The updated look, enhanced selfie camera, and larger battery with faster charging are my personal favourites. Aside from the iQoo 9 Pro (Review) and Samsung Galaxy S22 (Review), the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G has competition from the iPhone 13, Vivo X70 Pro+ (Review), and the Samsung Galaxy S22 (Review) from this year. OnePlus 10 Pro 5G review: Is it really as wonderful as it looks?

New and Cool 5g Design

The camera module of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G has drawn comparisons to a cooking hob, which led to some early backlash against the device’s design. I think it’s a lot more eye-catching than the camera module on the 9 Pro. Samsung’s current flagships appear to have inspired this design, with the camera module blending into the side frame. OnePlus’ usage of a matte glass texture on both of its colour selections, as well as the shade of green, appeals to me. When I saw this phone’s green colour and finish, I immediately thought back to my recent review of the OnePlus 8 Pro (Review). The glossy surface on the aluminium frame matches the colour of the phone’s back. If you have small hands, you may find it difficult to reach the alert slider on the right side, which has been moved higher than it should be. You can expect this phone to be scratch resistant even if you don’t use a case thanks to the usage of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the back, Gorilla Glass Victus on the display, and a ceramic coating on the camera module.

Hardware and software specifications

Every Android flagship in 2022 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G. LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage are also included. This is OnePlus’ most advanced cooling mechanism ever, and it should be able to keep the processor cool even while it’s under duress. In addition to the SLA linear haptic motor, which is believed to be faster, more powerful, and quieter than the one in the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, there is a SLA X-axis haptic motor. The 10 Pro 5G also has nine Indian 5G bands, compared to just two in the 9 Pro, which is a significant improvement. The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G’s battery capacity has been upped to 5,000mAh. In comparison to the 9 series, this new phone has a dual-cell battery that can charge at up to 80W SuperVOOC connected. The 9 Pro supports the same 50W AirVOOC wireless charging technology as the 9 In addition, wireless reverse charging is supported. The 10 Pro 5G offers stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6.

Display

I really enjoyed the display on the OnePlus 9 Pro, but the OnePlus 10 Pro takes it a step above. At 6.7 inches with a QHD resolution, it’s a huge and immersive AMOLED panel. GFXBench: 48fps (ES 3.1 onscreen) The OnePlus 10 Pro also employs second-generation LTPO technology, allowing the display to intelligently scale its refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz based on the on-screen content. Your resolution options are also limited by your phone’s battery life, which is why you can choose between FHD+ and QHD+. I truly love watching videos and playing games on the OnePlus 10 Pro display. Blade Runner 2049, for example, seems gloomy and dreary even in the midst of the neon, which entices me into the film’s gloomy universe. But when I saw the teaser for Disney+’s Obi-Wan programme, the OnePlus 10 Pro immediately dragged me into the drama surrounding one of the greatest Jedi teachers. We put the OnePlus 10 Pro up against the Galaxy S22 Ultra to see how its screen compares. Additionally, the OnePlus 9 Pro has been thrown in so you can see how the last two generations of OnePlus devices compare.

Camera

This year, cameras are the most important feature, and OnePlus delivered. The OnePlus 10 Pro, in short, is the best camera phone the company has ever made. Camera quality is nearly on par with that of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Pixel 6 Pro, and Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, thanks to the phone’s 48MP camera. A 150-degree field of vision is possible with the 50MP ultrawide camera, or a 100-degree field of view with minimum distortion. The OnePlus 10 Pro’s 8MP telephoto sensor is a minor gripe compared to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s dual 10MP telephoto lenses. 12MP and 48MP cameras are used for telephoto zooming on the iPhone 13 and 6 Pro. OnePlus has a disadvantage because of its high megapixel count, which we’ll see. The OnePlus 10 Pro’s selfie camera is a 32-megapixel shooter up front. A number of innovative software features are also available from OnePlus. The primary camera has a 10-bit colour depth capability (which saves in the HDIF format). OnePlus’ new RAW+ mode lets you shoot RAW photographs with some of the company’s software upgrades, such as a greater dynamic range. However, Master Styles, the OnePlus version of Apple’s Photographic Styles, is brand new for 2018.

Rumors:

According to rumours that have been floating about for some time, OnePlus is working on an ultra-premium flagship to compete with the likes of the Galaxy S22 Ultra and other high-end smartphones. Now, it appears that OnePlus has applied for a patent for a high-end smartphone in China’s CNIPA patent agency. Several drawings are included in the patent, which was spotted by IT Home. Take a look at these after the break. as the OnePlus 10 Pro, spilling over the rear and onto the edges. However, the rectangular hole below the two circular lenses suggests that the phone has a periscope camera. In addition, there appears to be an alert slider in the renderings, which could imply that this is a high-end flagship. It’s not like the alert slider hasn’t been mentioned in speculations before, but leaked OnePlus 10T renders don’t show it either. Has the OnePlus 10 Ultra been revealed? The OnePlus 10 Ultra isn’t depicted in these patent drawings, but patent filings aren’t often a sign of a real device on the horizon. Nonetheless, it appears that the business is considering a high-end flagship phone.

Conclusion:

However, the 5G OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is a bit heavier at 201g than the 8.55mm predecessor. This phone can accommodate two nano-SIM cards, but there’s no room for storage expansion or a headphone jack. Display size, resolution, frame rate, colour depth, and HDR certifications are all the same on the 10 Pro 5G as they are on the 9 Pro. This means that the display on the 10 Pro 5G is exactly the same as the 9 Pro’s display. Refresh rate has been reduced from 10Hz to 1Hz by using the second-generation LTPO AMOLED panel, and the fingerprint sensor has been moved to a better location so it is easier to operate. While the phone’s screen is still curved on the sides, it makes for an eye-catching design but is less than ideal for one-handed use. It’s good to see OnePlus bucking the lean smartphone packaging trend. Everything you need is included in the 10 Pro 5G, including a color-matched case, an 80W fast charger, a USB Type-C connection, and various accessories such as a SIM eject tool, stickers, etc. Also Read:   Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in a Traditional Design With Monster Batttery Apple iOS 16 Features is Bringing Some BIG Changes in your iPhone Samsung Galaxy Fold Z Design and Camera Details Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Specifications Leaked to Stick to 25w Fast Charging

It’s now possible to purchase the OnePlus 10 Pro in the United States. No substantial hardware differences exist between American and international models, other from a four-minute delay on our 30-minute charge time due to a 65W charger instead of an 80W one in the US.
