Turn On Network Discovery

To map a network disc on a Windows 10 computer, you must first activate network discovery. To accomplish this, launch Control Panel and then click “View Network Status and Tasks” inside the Network and Internet section. Next, click “Change Advanced Sharing Settings” in the left-hand pane.
